I never leave a review. This is my first one ever. My first few visits with dr haas seemed ok and I liked her concern at first. This last visit was horrible. I went in with wheezing in my chest and she told me I was fine. I told her I had asthma and it wasn’t normal to have wheezing after using inhalers. She kept telling me I had Covid and my lungs are damaged which I took at home tests they came up negative and she told me the tests are not real at home. She also told me over and over to get the Covid vaccine which I denied and she got infuriated repeating no over and over. She said she has had the Covid vaccine 5 times and she got Covid on New Years. Well I am not one to be a sheep and I will never put that shot in my body. She never called me on my X-ray results and I called a few times having worry. Very unprofessional this time and was not happy that she was let down of me not wanting a vaccine. I will not go back to her again.

Listening to patients is the most important thing for a doctor to do. In this regard, Gwen Haas of Lake Health in Ohio fails miserably. I went to see her to have a couple of prescriptions renewed. She immediately said that one of my prescriptions was “very weird.” When I tried to explain the history of my condition, she interrupted me repeatedly and said that the prescription was “very bizarre.” After several interruptions, I became disgusted with her refusal to listen to me and left the office. Further, Dr. Haas recently diagnosed my wife with diabetes. Dr. Haas did not share the test results with my wife, results that would have been very helpful. She merely asked if my wife wanted to control it with diet or with medication. My wife said she wanted to control it with diet, but Dr. Haas did not offer any nutritional guidance or advice, nor did she provide a referral to a nutritionist. Dr. Haas may know enough about medicine to get through medical school, but she knows absolutely nothing about relating to patients.

She really cares about her patients and will go over everything with you to make sure you understand. She has no problem referring you to a specialist when something is not in her field of expertise. Her nurse is awesome as well. They are very professional & friendly.

The best! I was treated well and involved in my care. We made decisions together and she never hesitated to do what needed to be be done to look after me.
