My husband had a hernia repaired several yrs ago. Dr. Arya did the surgery. My husband is prone to passing out after surgery if he rises to fast, etc while in recovery. Arya & his staf DID NOT take this into consideration (after they were told several times previous to my husband's surgery). Apparently, Dr. Arya basically wanted his surgical patients to have the least amount of time in recovery & after 1-1/2 hrs, my husband was scheduled to be discharged. Needless to say, while attempting to help my husband dress, he became light-heaed & passed out. Dr. Arya enters, screaming & carrying on, not at his staff for not being more conscientous with his patient but at the patients wife, me. I, again, told Dr. Arya (I specifically told him in person the previous week before surgery) that my husband gets light-headed & often passes out after anesthesia. Well, Dr. Arya pretty much called me a liar. If you want to be treated like an animal, disrespected, & emotionally abused, seek out Arya.

i had a simple hernia repair done and ended up with 24 hours to live. I had been concerned months prior and all he said was i was normal. Bull**** i almost died. Had a gallon of fluid on my stomach and it busted open. Ended up not not dying but had to have a wound vac for 6 or 7 months and home heath care. I had to small children and had to move in with my mother so she could care for my children and I.
