First-time visit today. Tremendous doctor! Listened carefully. Exam done thoroughly. Due to multiple conditions, was referred to a specialist more able to help. Staff (phone twice, front desk, her assistant Judy) were exceptionally pleasant, courteous, helpful. Although she can admit to the hospitals, does not doe so except for newborns. Need to look elsewhere if you want her to be your doctor while in the hospital. Did carefully explain that a resident "hospitalist doctor" will be the one, and may be a different one for a future admission. Her straightforward, calm, kindly, professional yet down-to-earth demeanor is so refreshing.

My daughter (9 yrs) and I have been seeing Dr. Corcoran for about 6-7yrs. She is our primary care physician and that won't be changing any time soon. I read the other review about Dr. Corcoran not being knowledgeable, and I think that statement couldn't be further from the truth. I have recommended her to various friends and family, and everyone that has been seen by her has made a point to tell me how much they like her. I gave Dr. Corcoran a rating of 4 under punctual (partially because I didn't want someone thinking I was giving a false review), but this is because she spends time with her patients, answers questions and doesn't run in and out of the exam room like the place is on fire.

Not very knowledgeable in areas in which you'd expect a doctor to have expertise (e.g., what type of specialist should treat what type of illness.) Seems that if they don't have a certain type of specialist at this clinic, you're sent to whatever type they do have (whether qualified or not) just to keep billing in-house. Bad medical care results. Should refer outside to correct type of specialist.
