Do not go to Sapperstein for ANY reason! I checked this out when a friend asked about a podiatrist. Let me tell you- he cut off part of my toe instead of the bunion, wrapped the nerve up in his dremel tool, and decried, “that’s good” when the nurse pointed out my facial expression. It got infected. Had to have 2 surgeries to correct the problem, and even those couldn’t fix it. I’m in horrible pain, the bone has popped out of its original newly made socket, and it’s been decades living with this. Back then he’d caused amputations from his shoddy work. How is he still licensed?

How is this guy still in business. You can check all the lawsuits against him in Missouri on case net mo. and in Kansas court records also. He's covering his back the second you walk in the door. So many people have been injured by him. He erases his records and when you do file a lawsuit against him his office makes sure that your records will show that you didn't follow through with his after care instructions which so many have. I don't know who his office staff are now but be warned and do your research before you let him do any laser surgery on you. He will blame his patients for any problems that are present. OMG ...how is he still in business because he knows how to manipulate the system.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Doctor Sapperstein is extremely knowledgeable in his field and seems to have great passion for his work. Very supportive staff who make you feel very comfortable. By the time I was done with my procedures, (which were all successful), I felt I was among friends vs just a doctor and his staff. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Shows little or no concern when someone develops a severe infection from an operation performed by him. We have spoken to several people recently who know of patients who have developed severe infections as a result of surgery performed in his office. One patient had to have six weeks of antibiotic infusion treatments for an infection from surgery performed by Sapperstein.

Check him out thoroughly before you go to him. Check his history in Kansas. NEVER let him put a knife to you.

Absolutely the best podiatrist. Kind, great bedside manner, very caring. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Used him 15 years ago, and again this year.
