Have pain in my shoulder. Had X-ray of shoulder and an MRI. I actually set up an appointment with another physician after finding this site. However I would have to wait longer than anticipated. My follow up with Mr. Bell was disappointing at best. My self diagnosis was more thorough than his 1 minute explanation of disk degeneration, something people at my age 55, have knowledge of. He referred me to another physician for pain management.

I can't imagine how anyone could say such negative things about Doctor Bell. Some of these must be malicious upliates. He did BOTH of my knee replacements three years ago next month and he and his partner were excellent in every way. He is extrememly bright and I found him to be caring and thorough. His staff is excellent, however they are busy busy as all of Palm Springs seems to go to him for knee replacement. Happy with my knees!!!

horrible doctor I suffer from Cervical Dystonia and it caused severe degeneration in my vertebrae .my Medical history .was well documented, I was diagnosed with generalized Dystonia and Parkinsonism 's by many Neurologists who specialize in Dystonia and Parkinson's .. was treated In a disrespectful manor by Dr Bell .. he did not even look at my Neck, or the X Rays and MRI's .. claimed I did not have degenerative disk disease or spinal stenosis.. Claimed to have done a complete exam In the paperwork he submitted to my Insurance company, which never happened. I spent 5 minutes in his office ,Dr Bell was argumentative.. also claimed he didn't think I had Dystonia ( he said Spasmodic Torticolis in the report) .Both the Dystonia and Degenerative disk disease and Stenosis are documented. Dr Bell got paid for this bogus exam. that never happened. Dr Bell also claimed that he told me my issues with Pain were Psychological and that I agreed with him on his Bogus statement. (this was in his report to the Insurance company) the Hospital administrators urged the doctor to amend his report..( he refused) his office did retract the bill to the Insurance company for the fraudulent exam.

My knee replacement could not have been better, If I had to do the other knee I would certianlty go to Dr Bell. It has been 2 1/2 yrs since my operation. You cannot see the scar of the knee,except closely! The knee is better that it ever was..complete use and flexibility. this man is a total pro when it comes to knee surgury.

Did ulnar nerve surgery in which he made the problem worse than it was. Today the feeling in my fingers is not there as I cannot tell the difference between hot and cold If I wasn't scared of a doctor making it worse I would try again...
