Treats Overwgt People BAD. Insists on unessary Office visits.. Does caree about the patient only the Money he makes off them.. Favors the Ins co. not the patient. And an uncaring Attitude by Him & his Receptionists.

We did not know they were not medical doctors but they are ok. Good for general medical like arthritis, colds, etc. He is hard to see in an emergency, you have to make appointments in a few days. They arent that busy ever, I think he has a lot of other things going on on the side.When I do see him he is nice, just dresses in his jeans and plaid shirt.

My 76 yr. old, stubborn Dutch mother, is currently a patient of Dr. Gary Sides. At first she wasn't sure if she liked him, but soon realized, he is a VERY caring, empathetic, conscientous, thorough, man. He doesn't treat her like some little old lady whose had a good life...and should just accept..with grace... whatever ails her. He LISTENS, MONITORS CLOSELY side effects from new meds, is quick to stop what isn't working and willing to read over ANYTHING her "really good intentioned" daughters come up with from the internet. "New ideas or new techniques" do not scare him. If he feels there COULD be some value or benefit for his patient, he checks it out. NOW, my mom says, "I know he's a good son!"

You can NEVER get in to see him when you need to. The receptionist/staff is rude and uncaring. Be prepared to schedule when your next problem will be flu/earache/pneumonia or you will never be taken care of. His answer is to send you to the urgent care/ER and then when you do and are told to follow up with him again you can NEVER NEVER NEVER get in with an appointment. Not helpful, not knowledgeable with treatments other MDs use regularly, not caring about your health. Worst doctor I have ever come across.

He seems to be very egotistical and unable to admit when he is wrong. HUGE professional issue for a doctor to have.
