I help care for a person with memory loss and stroke complications who goes to Dr Sooy, the only foot Dr in Pennsville, despite the fact that they got a bad infection and toenail fungus from a bad pedicure which Dr Sooy lied about. They still go because it is close and they have a hard time getting around. We walked in and the receptionist asked if we had our COVID vaccine cards. I said I did not get the vaccine but had a negative Covid test from this morning and that the patient had a vaccine but we didn’t bring the card because no one let us know. I was told to go outside and I did. Shortly thereafter, Dr Sooy brought the person out. As I ran up to assist he said patient needs a COVID card. I again asked why didn’t anyone let us know before we came since this is so difficult for my charge. He then lied and said he told the patient. I was with them at the last visit 3 months ago and he never said a thing about it which is what I told him. As we were walking away he said “if You don’t like it you can go to another country”. I said FU AH. Not a very nice thing to say for sure but I was so angry that this Dr would bring politics into a situation that was about their less than stellar office practices. I used to run an out patient practice and you can bet your bottom dollar we would have called all the patients to let them know about a major change in policy like this.
As I was telling this story, the person I was telling said her mom had surgery done by Dr Sooy and she had to go elsewhere to get it fixed because he screwed it up.

In summary, office never called regarding vaccine card requirement and when questioned was told BY THE DR to go to another county.

Needless to say I give Dr Sooy zero stars.

Ive been a pt. of rich s. and in a emergence bist without any appointment the dr. savef my life and i shall be forever grateful to him and how well he treated me..If ur reading this richetd im the guy u put inn the hosp. for a venous statis infection(ulcer) ive lost both my mom and, -dad and i am alone and tryimg to make it on my own her in florida.miss not seeing u anPMMyd wee 3 moveed down here 2003, i grew up here as a boy so i know the area well. My health is very good and im still reelling from the loss of myx mom!anyway , i hope u and wife and 3boys are all well and enjoyinng life.God knows u all deserve jt. Take care rich sorry things didnt go well in Pennsville but im ocd and my parents health declined and off to nursing home cate in pennsgrovee...so we packed up to old fla. and i lost them both here. not meant to be?
