I saw Dr. Gafour for the first time yesterday where she now practices at Prism Eye Care in Niles (inside Costco). In over 30 years of seeing different eye doctors, Dr. Gafour stands out as the best I've experienced. She is intelligent and knows her field, unlike others who read the literature and expect human patients to conform to what they've read. I had a special issue with my contact lenses that she took the time to figure out and resolve. In other words, she thinks. She also listens, is compassionate, and takes the time to explain what she is doing. I am so impressed with her skills that I will now follow this doctor no matter where she chooses to practice.
