I will address each topic in order and this is only MY opinion. I was a patient with Dr. Landan for many years. Staff if not friendly and they changed over the course the the years. It seemed like it was a prerequisite to be unfriendly but maybe they just didn't like their job. I never had to wait very long to get into the office. Helpfulness, well you sure wouldn't want to ask questions because he would come back with a "smart" reply. Knowledge, I believe he thinks he is knowledgeable however being compassionate and knowing how to relate to your patient is part of the knowledge a good Dr. should possess.

Dr. Landan is one of the worst doctors that my wife and I have ever seen. His bedside manor is horrible, he walks around the office like he is better than everyone thats in the building. He insisted on telling us that the other doctors were wrong when my wife hasnt even been diagnosed with anything yet. We went there for some answers as to why my wife has headaches daily and to go over her MRI, all he kept saying was "do you follow me? Do you understand what im saying?" He told us that she is not having the migranes that she is experiencing. He insulted our intelligence and left my wife in tears. Visiting with him was a waste of time, energy, and money. This man is a joke! His staff was rude and rolled her eyes at every question asked. I feel sorry for anyone who gets refered to this man.

I just had the worst experience i have ever had with a doctor, Dr. Landan was rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I have had many concussions in my past and my symptoms have been getting worse , i went to see the doctor to add some relief to my concerns. He walked into the room and basicall asked me what was wrong so i told him i had blurred vison, balance problems and headaches (mild). He tells me well you have post concussion syndrome, i was amazed that he could visually diagnose someone, he didnt do any tests, nothing , he kept asking me what i would like him to do , and that ct scans and mri's are expensive and hes trying to help me by saving me money, what hes trying to do is not do the tests because im a cash paying customer and hes afraid i might not pay. If i had insurance he would have done every test in the book to confirm his diagnoses, i am EXTREMLEY DISSAPOINTED, and if you ever go see him your better off diagnosing yourself , cause thats what hel have you do. Pathetic!

My husband has had Parkinson's Disease for 18 years, being diagnosed at the age of 48. Four neurologists have prescribed for him throughout this time. When Dr. Landan took our case, I was impressed that he said "I never give up". At the time my husband was in a nursing home, over-drugged and I anticipated that he would spend the rest of his life there. Dr. Landan was persistant and worked with the nursing home under very trying circumstances created by the facility. Dr. Landan has gotten it right. He has given us our life back. We now have conversations, my husband feeds himself and is able to ambulate with a walker, none of which he could do at the nursing home due to being overmedicated. Most importantly, my husband is home and we are managing well despite this disease. I have found Dr. Landan and his staff to be professional and caring. I am forever thankful.

Dr. Landon is rude, unprofessional, curt, and has absolutely no bedside manner. At my last visit, I was in so much pain from an ongoing migraine that I could barely walk. After that appointment, Dr. Landan never called in a prescription, never offered any advice to manage the pain--all he said was, "Let's schedule another appointment and talk when you are acting more like yourself." (He also accused me of looking for a drug-dealer instead of a doctor.) No, thank you! This man won't be getting anymore insurance money from me, and I hope that he won't get any from any one else, either.

Dr. Landan has always been very knowlenagle about MS and always keeps curent with latest MS drugs & asistive aids. I've been with him for over 12 years and look to him for guidance to help me trough this wicked disearse. In regards to his "bedside maner" he reflects his East Coast upbringing. His curtness is not uncommon out there and needs to be taken with a grain of salt by us midwesterners.

I have been a patient of Dr. Landan's for many years. I have never met a more caring doctor ever. He takes his time in the office to go over any concerns that I might have. Nothing is too trivial. He makes my questions, no matter what they are, important. If I were to ask himm something that he just might not have the answer for, he would find the answer immediately. He has been my doctor for many years and I now consider him a friend. It is very frightening to receive a diagnosis that will probably take your ability to walk, talk or think. Dr. Landan always let me know that I could call him at any time if I had any kind of concerns. No concern was too small. I would be proud to recommend Dr. Landan to anyone which I have done. Thank you Dr.Landan for being the kind of Doctor that everyone should have!

Dr. Landan CAN BE very abrasive and rude, BUT I feel he is extremely knowledgeable. I had MS for over 13 years when I saw Dr. Landan for the first time. He couldn't believe I hadn't been "proactive" and on medication. He told me "It MAY BE TO LATE for ANY EFFECTIVE TREATMENT!!!" Thus, I started on daily medication. I have seen Dr. Landan every 6 months since. I was able to contact his office to request a steroid injection treatmemt to treat a M.S. relapse. The home nurse treatments were taken care of over the phone with his receptionists. I DO RECOMMEND Dr. Landan! He is extremely knowledgeable about Multiple Sclerosis and had been recommended to me by a friend who has seen him for over 14 years, after visiting other neurologists that DID NOT treat her M.S. successfully! I am GLAD I chose to see Dr. Landan, instead of a different local neurologists.
