Bad experiences.. She and one of her staff was very rude to me. They had no patience with me. That doctor listened to her staff rather than her patients. She chooses her staff over her patients. She is not willing to work things out with her patients. She listen to her staff side story not listening both sides stories

Sadly, I recently had a missarriage. Dr. Schaecher was helpful, compassionate and understanding. She talked to me about all the treatment options I had and she also talked to me about the psychological impact of having a miscarriage. I LOVE her! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a St. Louis "Top Doc!"

Dr. Schaecher is wonderful. I went to her with a very serious, private and embarrassing medical issue. She handled me with sincerity, and help diagnose and treat my issue. She genuinely cares about her patients and makes sure you feel comfortable. Without hesitation, I would recommend her a million times over! Go to her!

I love Dr. Schaecher, I randomly found her online and have been going to her ever since. She delivered my baby and was wonderful walking us through the process. I never felt rushed, my husband and I both thought she was awesome. I like that we are around the same age and she is very down to earth. I never felt that I was being talked down too, everytime I go and see her it's like catching up with an old friend. I read previous reviews about her being rude, but I never experienced that. Everyone does have off days once in a while I guess. I would recommend her to friends. Lastly, the night my water broke she answered my phone call at 1 AM, it was so nice to hear her voice at that moment in time.

My doctor left st Luke's and moved to St. John's. I was notified by a past due bill that I didn't owe that he moved. I chose Dr Schaecher. Absolutely love her. She is very knowledgable. Took her time with me. I would recommend her. One of my employees also goes to her and she loves her too.

I surely don't know what these negative reviews are talking about, my experiences with Dr. Caren Schaecher have been nothing but fantastic! I have seen my share of OB/GYNs in my time and I have never had a better physician! I was actually referred to her from multiple colleagues and friends... So I figured multiple glowing references had to mean something. They were 100% right. She is extremely inviting, warm, and has fantastic bedside manner. She remembers me every time I see her- and my kids' names, about my dog, and even that my husband and I are renovating an old house! It's so nice to have a physician who actually takes the time to get to know her patients. I not once have felt like a number. Not once have I felt like a chart. I have even had the unfortunate need to call her at 3AM for an emergency prescription, and even though I CLEARLY woke her, she was still the most polite and professional physician I could have asked for. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Dr. Schaecher presented as dismissive, unkind, uninterested and rushed during my last visit. I had some medical complications to which she grossly under-responded. She seemed irritated with the questions I was asking for further clarification. She was 20 minutes late to the appointment, did not have her equipment a d seemed more interested in tracking down her stethoscope than attending to my reasonable fears & concerns. I felt brushed off & she was unable to do the necessary intervention during that office visit, requiring me to return 10 days later, even though I had scheduled the procedure in advance. Her tone was condescending & flippant. Her bedside manner was rude and invalidating, which is not effective for an OB/GYN. As a fellow health care provider, I know the standards of care and she does not meet them. I am no longer her patient & I am taking my referrals elsewhere.
