After a partial knee I never required even one pain pill and walked immediately without a cane. After only 2 weeks of physical therapy I had met all of their goals. The success of this surgery exceeded my expectations.

First, Dr. Hoffman is a top notch surgeon. He's done all 3 of my major knee surgeries. ACL on right and left knee (1986 and 1989) and my partial knee replacement on 7/9/14. I've NEVER had any issues with the surgeries. Actually, they have been nothing but great. No issues and I heal fast and better than I was. I'm 43, had a partial knee replacement on July 9th, was bowling and coaching football by August 10th. The staff at the surgery center is caring and knowledgeable. Top notch all the way around. If you need a surgeon, look no further, period.

Dr. Hoffman was very understanding of my hip pain issues and fully explained my options. I chose to have hip replacement surgery 5 weeks ago. Recover/rehab has gone very well and I am pain free.

on initial visit, doctor didn't bother to discuss my goals or treatment options...when he came in the room, he already knew what he wanted to do and it was take it or leave it. i felt like i was on an assembly line. i should have felt that the physician cared but i didn't. PA was good but i won't go back to this facility again

Hey Doc...it has been 23 years since the last surgery. 2 acls & 3 miniscus. I am now 40 years old & can jog 12-15 miles per week with no pain. I have full mobility. THANK YOU! One problem I do suffer from is pulled hamstring twice with later occurence being a torn hammy (SUCKS). Damn painful & irritating. Makes my leg drag after about 2 miles into a good pace. I will be in to see you in a few more years.

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE-As a new patent, they required 2 things before I could get an appointment. 1) my records from my Ortho in NY and 2) Dr Hoffman has to review my medical records to determine if I am worthy of be his patient. I was and given a appointment 2 weeks later. I needed to get in right away to do rehab of my right knee. Instead I was told to go to another therapy place and all I need to do is have my Ortho call the physical therapist! When I asked if there was a therapy place in Blue Grass, IA-Big lie, NO. I asked why they didn't just tell me over the phone instead of me coming all the way there, pre fill out all their forms and have my Ortho in NY fax my medical records and when I am not in any condition to drive come there? No apology and when I asked to speak to the business manager, the doctor turned his back on me and said he wasn't giving it to me. I had to threaten to call the police to get all of my own medical records back from them. NEVER EVER GO TO THEM!
