I was a respiratory therapist that worked with Dr Markowitz when he was at Mt Siani in Cleveland Ohio. I have worked with cardiac surgeons in different states and different hospitals in Ohio. I have never seen a cardiac surgeon who cared more about his patients than Dr Markowitz. His patients care always came first! He is a great doctor to work with and my Dr of choice if I ever needed any cardiac surgery.

Dr Markowitzs just replaced my arotic heart valve. During the whole process he was very compassionate and took the time to explain all of the process to me and my family. He is a very dedicated and caring Dr and knows his job very well. He has given life back to me.

Dr. Markowitz and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful! Dr. Markowitz takes the time to answer your questions - to explain and he sincerely cares about his patients' well being. An expert at what he does - his passion for what he does shows. He not only saved my dad's life - he saved my entire family's life by saving my dad! He replaced my dad's tricuspid valve back in June 2013 and I'm happy to report that my dad is recovering to where he's almost back to his old self!! Thank you Dr. Markowitz!! :D
