I agree with the other reviews, he is arrogant and he ignores what the other doctors in his practice recommend. I was so unlucky that he was on call when I was in labor. The doctors that saw me at the office during my last OB appointments told me not two wait to go to the hospital with contractions closer than 10min. I called the day I was in labor to say I had been with contractions all day and even though I told him what the other two doctors in his practice said he told me not to go until they were 4-5 mins apart. Thanks to that we almost didn't make it to the hospital, I couldn't get an epidural, and he didn't show up until the baby was almost out. He stood up on a side until it was time to catch the baby and didn't ask my husband if he wanted to cut the umbilical cord. On top of everything, he was the one who discharged me without leaving any prescription for pain.

I saw Dr. Henke twice during my pregnancy. He was always rude and condescending. Luckily he wasn't the doctor to deliver my twins.

The day after I gave a birth to my son, he came in the hospital room next morning. Just doing regular dr.s chat. When I told him about my concerns about gestational diabetes and follow up of it, he basically told me not to worry about it. (Because my sugar level was not as high as he would be concerned.) I thought to myself... well sure you won't worry 'coz it is not you!) But the worst was his office's Receptionist Diane. She is not capable of handling anything out of usual. She cannot use her head to pick up a phone and call insurance company, I had to do it. She was extremely rude and ****y. It was all I could do not to walk out.

I've been going to Dr. Henke for years and have always been pleased with his service. I don't know what the others are talking about, because I've never seen that side of him. He always takes time to answer any questions and I never feel rushed. I've only gone for routine yearly checkups because thankfully I've had no medical problems.

Gave me a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago that I have to go back in and have done the right way at the end of the month. Dr. Henke was arrogant, rude, and was clearly annoyed when I displayed complications after surgery. I have bled randomly 3-4 times a month since June 2007. He was supposed to take all but 1 cm of my cervix, but left over 7 cm. Now I also have adhesions because of it. I'd like to send him my $150 surgical copay for having to have someone else go in and do it right! He totally blew me off. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Henke is extremely arrogant and does not have a good bedside manner. He has the longest wait out of all of the other physicians in his practice. My overall opinion would be that he is neglectful to his patients and does not seem to care.
