I am forever indebted to Dr. Allan Sidorsky, Chiropractic Physician, as he spared me from having to undergo Carpal Tunnel surgery after the birth of my son!

Due to the swelling in my wrists throughout my pregnancy and then the stress placed on my wrists while I was in labor for nine hours, I developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

I had endured two months of unbearable pain in my wrists while being a stay at home mom. I was in tears on daily basis from the pain associated with my limited motion, shooting pain and numbness in my wrists from simply picking my son up, breast feeding or changing a diaper.

Upon being examined by a highly respected orthopedic hand surgeon in Celebration and having multiple x-rays to confirm the diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel, I was told “the only solution to relieve the pressure, pain, tingling, numbness on the median nerve in your wrist is to undergo surgery.”

I KNEW there had to be another option out there. In talking with my sister, who is a nurse in Ohio, she suggested looking to chiropractic options. In my research, I read about the relief from Carpal Tunnel through the use of the Graston Technique. I then googled Graston and found Dr. Sidorsky.

In calling to make my appointment with Dr. Sidorsky, I spoke to Lisa (amazing Office Manager), I asked if it would be okay to bring my newborn son with me to my appointments as I was a stay-at-home/ breastfeeding mom with no one to care for my baby while I came to my appointments. Lisa assured me brining Lance would be no problem as Dr. Sidorsky has two children of his own and understands completely. I was so relieved that this office was truly going to be able to help me and make the process of healing as easy as possible for me and my family.

As a new mom, I was in tears by the time I arrived 20 minutes late to the appointment. I was praying I would still be able to be seen by Dr Sidorsky and hoped for even the tiniest bit of relief from my numb, painful, tingling, useless wrists. Dr. Sidorsky, exceeded every expectation. He accommodated his exam room to allow for our stroller to park inside of the exam room. I was able to hold Lance as needed throughout the Graston treatments. Lance nursed as Dr Sidorsky adjusted my shoulders, wrist and low back. It was truly a partnership to treat my Carpal Tunnel, listen to me as a patient and respect the needs of my newborn child.

Dr Sidorsky respected me as a breastfeeding mamma and did not use the CryoDerm pain relieving therapy gel or any lotion that could possibly be absorbed by my skin and transmitted through my breastmilk. He valued breast feeding and did not want to take any chances that Lance would reject my milk due to lotion flavoring absorbing into milk. I would have never thought of that was so thankful for his foresight.

When I started treatment I had almost zero range of motion in my wrists, I suffered relentless pain, numbness and tingling. After 6 weeks and 12 Graston treatments I was gained complete relief from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Thanks to Dr Sidorsky and his execution of the Graston Techniques, NO SURGERY was ever needed for my Carpal Tunnel. I regained full range of motion. No longer suffer from tingling, numbness or pain. I am 100% healed!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sidorsky for over 8 years now. Not only is he the best Chiropractor around, he cares about his patients and their overall well being. He gets to know their stories and lifestyles and helps them any way he can. I had several back injuries over the years and he has worked wonders and gotten me back to my normal self each time. I can’t imagine going to another Chiropractor. No matter where he practices, I will follow him!
