Surgery done very poorly! Placement of joint so bad I have bad groin pain, leg pain, and back pain that I did not have prior to the surgery. Poor doctor for athletes.

Dr. Ballard did not review my hip MRI’s or X-rays within the last year before surgery. An hour before my surgery at the hospital he comes in to mark my leg and asks me “is that leg shorter than the other”. I looked at him surprised. He says “just a question” and walks off.. He reamed my joint space to far forward and to far inside in addition to making my leg shorter. He did a bad job on my hip replacement surgery. I was on the Oregon Health plan at the time. I guess I was not worth much to him! I don’t recommend him.

Dr. Ballard is very engaged in the 'whole' picture. He listens well and clearly explains the process. He is extremely supportive throughout from injury to surgery and recovery.

Dr. Ballard told me we are going to get you better, and that is exactly what he did. I was a reconstruction case and had my reservations going back under the knife, Dr. Ballard is and has been very professional and my wife and I are very pleased to have found this clinic, Thank-You so very much see ya in 2021. .

Absolutely fantastic!!! Not only are they most highly proficient in their knowledge and surgical skills, but they truly care about each patient's personal needs and questions. 100 percent responsive including the anesthesiologist who was also outstanding!!! The entire team deserves the highest recognition, praise and gratitude for giving above and beyond the medical standards. How do I know. This is my second hip replacement. The first one was done by the head of orthopedics in Kirkland Wa. Just one of many, many comparative examples, would be 4 and 1/2 months on a walker as compared to 1 and 1/2 weeks at the most with the 2nd operation. This entire team gets a 5 Star rating as THE VERY BEST!!! My gratitude knows no bounds. Catherine (Kathy) Houser, who now can return to living a pain-free life thanks to this entire team. .
