Dr. Enker from World Eyeglasses does good work, at incredibly reasonable prices, and he does it as fast as you need it. A friend was quoted $600+ by one of the major major companies Dr Enker did it for under $200. I lose a pair a month so I buy five or six at a time, he makes that possible.

Everyone here is so knowledgeable. They had so much information about lenses - things I never knew! The selection is very nice - not all the glasses you see elsewhere, and the staff are really good at picking glasses that fit your face and style well.

I tried this place after being completely disgusted by my experience with another nearby optometrist. Wow, what difference! Dr. Enker is professional, friendly, personable, informative, and he cares. He read the prescription from my old glasses and said the left one was way too strong... I knew something was up with that, but never thought an optometrist could make a mistake like that... Dr. Enker's staff is professional and friendly and helpful. If you will ever need a good optometrist in Fort Lauderdale go to World Eyeglasses.

In my eye exam, Dr Enker never said 'hi', 'welcome' nor did he introduce himself. During the exam, I asked him to 'hold on' before changing the magification (so that I could determine which letters I could see better). He got mad & said 'are you going to tell me how to do my job'. Then, when he was going to give me sample contacts to try, he said 'why dont you just leave leave today?' I was so confused & asked him why he would ask me to leAve. He said well, you didnt seem happy when you came in the exam room. I said ' I wasn't, I just waited an hour past my appt but I didnt complain so why would you ask me to leave? He gave me the sample & sent me to his asst to get my prescriptuon & pay. She asked me how I was. I told her not happy b/c the Dr wasnt nice at all. She said, well dont pay today, she wouldnt give me my prescription & she asked me to leave. when I told her she asked me how I was & I was only answering,she again told me to leave. I was looking for a way not to have to spend a fortune on glasses, and he provides. He is smart and to the point. Cost of exam and lenses are less than a third of what I spent with another optometrist... Can't beat this place! It's awesome! :)

Dr. Enker is wonderful! Very attentive and very thorough in his eye exams, best customer service ever. His staff is also wonderful, professional, courteous and extremely helpful in picking out eyeglasses, contacts and other options. Kudos to World Eyeglasses!

I have always liked and respected Dr Enker and I will say my service has always been outstanding. I have worn glasses/contacts for years and been to several eye doctors, and I would not trade World Eyeglasses for the world. Yes he is that good! I have to say, if you are looking for outstanding service from people who care and want to earn your trust and respect for years to come, this is the place to come to.

On my very first visit I was impressed with Dr. Enker. He uses state of the art equipment and the best technology for eye examinations. He is extremely efficient so that there is no long wait. I appreciate his experience and expertise and willingness to share knowledge. Just prior to the exam, I received handouts providing a wealth of knowledge and watched videos that are very informative. Great discount prices and a discount club membership makes it economical.Most importantly, his professionalism and willingness to help is outstanding. My eyes are horrible really bad and I hate going to the eye doctor because my prescription always gets worse but Dr. Enker explained that we did not have to make the presription worse or I felt like I wanted or needed it stronger and so since I was happy with vision test and decided to stay with my same prescription and Dr. Enker said no problem you are not going to hurt your eyes or vision so I was really happy to find a doctor that did not just kept making my glasses stronger

I am astonished at the treatment I have received from the staff and the doctor. I called Dr. Enker’s office to see about being a new patient. The girl, Sandra, that answered the phone was not interested in speaking with me. She simply wanted to get off the phone. She interrupted me on several occasions. I finally asked if I could please just ask a question. She sighed and said rudely, “I have a lot of lines here.” I responded that I hoped it wasn’t going to be this way when I visited because customer service is important to me. (Isn’t it to everyone?) She completely ignored me.I got off the phone with her and immediately went on the website to send an email. I was hoping someone who cared about the service their customers were getting would respond. However, I was shocked when the doctor responded. He “apologized” and then told me that he was cancelling my appointment. I cannot believe the treatment I received from this place. Why is it so hard to take the time to be kind?!!
