Everything was awesome, the staff was great. My only comment about something that needs fixed would be this: I got some miscommunication about the time of my surgery. I heard from both this staff and the hospital staff that I should show up to the hospital at 9am with an empty stomach. So when I arrived at the hospital, they seemed a bit confused...turns out my surgery wasn't going to happen until 2pm or 3pm. So I had to wait around in a hospital room in a rubber gown for 5 hours. The hospital did send me a surgery, but they sent it to my work email, which I did not have access to for 6 weeks. By the time I saw their survey it was too late to take it. Their survey had expired. In the end, everything was fine and I did not starve, but I think I could have shown up later to the hospital.

Dr. David P. Huberty's response
There are a variety of factors that can cause changes to the surgery schedule. Unfortunately, the status of other patients or the timeliness of other procedures on the schedule can have an impact on wait times. We sincerely apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience

I have been so happy with everything. I had two procedures in 2006/7 with another surgeon who did not seem to think I needed full range of motion 'at your age'. In marked contrast from the very beginning at ROC I felt Dr. Huberty believed I could gain much of what I had lost, and the pain could be reduced. The original replacement procedure was excellent. Pain was diminished and physical therapy gave me back my usual routines. When pain returned after two years, Dr. Huberty stuck with me to determine the cause. This last procedure gave me 100 percent of the ability I previously had. I am so happy.

I am very pleased with the results of the surgery. The only down side to my experience was the wait time. It generally took 30 minutes to see the doctor after the original appointment time. Example, 10:00 AM apppointment, I would see the doctor 30 minutes later. So planning anything afterwards was not good as I would be late. One additional, I had a situation where I injured my arm after surgery and was told it would take 4 days or more before seeing the doctor as his schedule was full, this was not good. I would definitely and will use ROC again and Dr Huberty.

Dr. David P. Huberty's response
We sincerely appreciate the kind words. It means so much to know when our patients have outcomes with which they are thrilled. That said, we do regret when any patient experiences a delay in our office. We try to avoid such delays, but our doctors feel it is important to give every patient as much time as is necessary to answer all questions. Though it may cause the occasional delay, we believe this to be the best practice

Dr. Huberty has performed both a shoulder surgery and carpal tunnel surgery on me most recently. Each appointment and procedure were excellent with great follow up and support. Dr. Huberty is well respected and was recommended to me from both patients and professionals who have worked with him in surgery. All said they would seek him out if they needed any surgery or orthopedic care.
