Horrible. SHE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! I've spoken to multiple people who have gone to her and no one has anything good to say. I also heard she has essentially been "banned" from other doctors in the area because of how poor practices. She was very quick to diagnose me as bi-polar, same story with others. I got re-evaluated by another psychologist, and they said i absolutely am NOT bi-polar! On one office visit, she asked how I was doing on my latest medication.. I spent 5 minutes talking about the medication, she responded "Thats great, thats exactly what Seroquel is supposed to do".. I said, wait, I wasn't talking about Seroquel....... I told her everything I was saying was about the Lamotrigine, she said "Oh oh.. yeah that sounds like thats working too then". Then she asked why I was on the Seroquel. I said to help me sleep. I am also on Vyvanse for my ADD, she pushed me to switch to "Mydayis" knowing my insurance wouldn't cover it but said she would submit a request with the insurance. I got a letter from my insurance stating to the effect of "Your request has been denied because Mydayis is not a treatment for bi-polar". What the heck? This was for my ADD! Lastly, Dr.Foroutan violates HIPAA laws left and right. She has talked about other patients with me, she has disclosed to another patient that is a co-worker of mine that I am a patient of hers and called me an "a** h***" to my co-worker, and she openly talks about medications being prescribed to other patients as they leave right in the reception area where everyone can hear.
