Pamela Alvarez is the absolute worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. She’s so rude and inconsiderate that I wouldn’t even recommend her to my ex-husband, whom I strongly dislike. So that should tell you a lot. She made me feel like the severe pain I feel during my migraines was nothing and had the nerve to tell me i wasn’t experiencing migraines. Mind you, I was diagnosed in high school about 14 years ago. She also scoffed at me that I couldn’t remember his name at the moment and said “so some doctor that you can’t remember told you that you had migraines....” wow. Is that how you treat patients as a specialty doctor?! That’s even after I told her my pain was a 10 to the point where my husband has to come home to take over with the kids. She has zero compassion for patients and is downright rude. After she asked minimal questions and continued to insult me with my answers, she said she’d call my primary dr to “touch base” and “see if they’re on the same page,” she never came back. Her nurse came in and tried to go over some medication that the dr never talked to me about and wanted me to come in again in two months. Absolutely not!! I can’t wait to find a new doctor who actually cares about my pain and wants to help me manage it. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!

To quote other reviewers, "she doesn't care." I went to this Dr. with a serious concern which I felt she dismissed and didn't accurately diagnose. The story goes on and on, I currently have an appointment with what I hope is a qualified, legitimate Doctor, sadly since I saw Alvarez my condition has worsened. I would NOT recommend this "Dr."

I came to see Dr. Alvarez because I was extremely dissatisfied with my previous neurologist. I am not a person that tells my doctor here I am fix me. My wife and I are both very proactive in our healthcare. I told Dr. Alvarez right up front that I was interviewing her to see if I wanted to add her to my health team After half an hour of non rushed communication with her reviewing my medical records and her assessment of my medical needs, my wife and I both decided she was exactly what we we were looking for. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and expressed a desire to have me as her patient. .She confirmed my personal research and accepted my invitation to join my medical team. I give her my top rating and would recommend her to others. I look forward to the follow-up visit in 3 months. Her staff has already in one day followed up and has been of great service

This is a TERRIBLE practice. The staff is extremely rude & unprofessional. Alvarez seems "friendly" but absolutely DOES NOT CARE!! She won't take the time to take a proper history or perform an actual neuro exam, records information incorrectly, won't allow the patient to ask any questions, & REFUSES to discuss the condition. She completely missed my diagnosis! Of course, she billed my insurance for a thorough neuro exam & consultation which I didn't actually receive.
