Dr. Shimotsu is the best. After seeing multiple specialist for my unexplained medical issues, Dr.Shimotsu got it figured out. I had been dealing with this medical issue for over 10 years . I highly recommend her. I have never had a doctor work with me like she does. She really cares about her patients.

Dr. Shimotsu is no longer our family's physician. After more than 20 years, she denied us as patients. I would think twice about seeing her.

Dr. Shimotsu has been our family doctor for over 20 years. She is very attentive & concerned about her patients. My children were small when we were blessed to find her, & she immediately addressed their allergy problems that previous doctors did not acknowledge or address. She is the best PCP I've ever had, and I trust her judgment always.

I have been with this doctor for almost 20 years and like another commenter feel she has gotten less and less helpful. I know how it used to be and she is not that doctor anymore. She's never followed up with any of my specialists. I have always had to bring her my own documents on my own dime. Even the documents she has she doesn't read. She also always prescribes whatever the drug people bring her (I've never been there when there wasn't at least 1 rep in the office)and then it's either a top tier prescription or not covered by insurance. It's so frustrating. And good luck trying to call back and get it straightened out. For me the nurse called back after 2 days and offered me a prescription to something I was allergic to. And I have to say her nurse has never been nice. Office has made mistakes multiple times and has misdiagnosed me. Look elsewhere if you want someone who will listen and take care of you.

I have been seeing Dr. Shimotsu since 2007. She is excellent. She will refer to specialists, but then follows up with them, and knows what is going on. She is friendly, smart, helpful and reassuring. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of hers for 12 yrs. I would recommend her to anyone. She does not prescibe medications that are not in her field of expertise like alot of doctors do to keep patients coming back. It's so true she is like a friend that really cares.

Excellent Dr. I started going to her 22 years ago for my kids; she was a superior dr. over the pediatrican I had been seeing. I then started to see her as my GYN dr.; again superior attention to my OB/GYN. I cannot rave more above her. He has the old-fashioned dr. ethics/qualities we older folks remembers from years ago. Deserves recognition for all he attention to patients.

Dr. Shimotsu was my doctor for about 10 years before I moved out to Nevada for college. I miss her terribly. The quality of the health care providers here in Las Vegas is VERY poor and I miss her attentiveness, knowledge, and intelligent attitude. She always took time with me and I always felt as though she valued my health and me as a person. I would highly recommend her!
