Please note that my new practice name is Elite Sports Podiatry, located at 1700 N. McMullen Booth Road Clearwater, 727-330-7646. The terms of my employment state that I am not allowed to contact my patients at my previous place. It is a common tactic to not inform the patients a Doctor has left a group so that the group can try and get the patient in the office and attempt to retain that patient., it is deceptive on their part. As far as leaving CT please note that I sent out letters to every patient I had seen and I informed all I was leaving, some ratings and comments need to be taken with a grain of salt as to the accuracy.

Dr. Fullem was seeing me at his practice in South Tampa and then abruptly left in between appointments without any warning. Overall, I really enjoyed our association and his knowledge, but I am disappointed that he did not reach out to his patients to explain his leaving, especially with another appointment pending. I place part of the blame on the office itself who apparently notified some patients but not others. I received two phone notifications the day before, so they certainly knew how to contact me.

I found the new Doctor to be very competent, and he actually contradicted some of Dr. Fullem's treatment via shock wave therapy so time will tell how this all works out. But given the comment below about Dr. Fullem's previous departure from CT to FL, it seems like he might have a track record in terms of ending relationships with his patients.

Dr. Fullem was very friendly and helpful. I saw him a couple of times and then only when needed. I liked that he didn't keep me coming back for no reason. I left feeling that I had a great experience with both he and his staff.

Dr Fullem performed bunion surgery on both my feet. Left me in the middle of recovery and moved to Fl just after the second surgery. Cast had to be removed much sooner than recommended because of severe pain. Doctor was horrified! When removed, foot incredibly black and blue up to ankle. Damaged foot required a bone stimulator for 6 months by a foot surgeon. Finally healed both feet never right. Hard to walk long distances, need supports in all shoes. Can never wear sandals again too painful. Need corrective surgery but putting off. Dr Fullem left my situation in CT to practice in FL and left his patients in the hands of physicians that wanted no part of problems he left behind. Pursuing malpractice suit. Be sure to research his previous CT practice before choosing any surgery by him....I learned to be sure to choose a surgeon for foot surgery not a podiatrist. Dr Fullem has neglected me as a patient so be sure to do your homework.....don't let this happen to you....no foot, no walk!!
