Dr. Jackson is very sweet, and probably competent at her job. Her staff, however, are amazingly incompetent and show absolutely no compassion for what patients may be going through. If I hear the words, "that is our policy" one more time... On several occasions, I asked if it would be possible to speak to Dr. Jackson directly (when calling) or to ask her to phone me back at her convenience, that is close to impossible and her staff never gets the messages to her. I confirmed that on my last visit. I would not recommend this office to anyone, which is a shame, because Dr. Jackson herself is very nice and very easy to deal with.

What a surpise that out of the 15+ reviews I read on here and the Google review page, majority are about the incompetent and rude reception staff. After spending an hour on the phone with insurance, they assured me I could be seen at the office. The "staff manager" was beyond condescending. I am a current medical student and have worked as a medical assistant for 3 years, so needless to say I am aware of how HMO v. PPO insurance works. She talked down to me and didn't seem to have any interest in helping. All I needed was a lab referral written for blood work to be done. After asking how much it would cost out of pocket, she replied with the surprisingly unhelpful answer "it can range all the way up to $180 but I won't be able to tell to you until we finish the appointment." Simply brilliant. You would think that after all the negative reviews about the staff, there would be some changes implented. Think again. Save yourself the headache and avoid this office.

Although I found Dr. Jackson to be very kind and knowledgable, her staff is rude and condescending. Especially the receptionist. She got loud and argumentative over the phone regarding the fact that she over billed me and then acted as though this was not a big deal. Took 3 months to get my refund. For what should have been a $25 visit charged me $106 and rudely stated they were well within their scope to do so upfront. The other Dr. they added to practice has a discourteous staff as well. They took a long time to get my info to a referring doctor, then stated when I called back that they would get around to it, but I was not the only patient. Then one of the doctors they referred me to didn't even handle my prob. Waste of time. My husband and I will be finding a new General Practitioners office. No excuse for having rude support staff

I love Dr. Jackson, although I will agree, I cannot stand the older Receptionist, she is VERY rude and acts as though you are wasting her time. I hate having to deal with this woman when I call and when I am there.

Love Dr. Jackson, she is very polite and listens to what you have to say. However, she has the rudest staff of any office I have ever been to. They act as if you are a bother to them and speak very rude to patients. I am seriously considering finding a new doctor just because of her staff. The way you are treated from beginning to end means everything.
