Dr. Siddiqui has an attentive and calm bedside manner!!! He IS the most caring gastro doc I've ever seen in the Austin area...and I have seen several!!!
I've been to 9 ER visits and 6 gastro doctors. NONE of them cared or were knowledgeable enough regarding my complex motility and esophageal issues. My GP would just dismiss my serious condition, and even told me that he couldnt think of a pill that would fix me, without any referrals or treatment! They have all passed me off without any assistance, diagnosises, treatment and care. Dr. Siddiqui took the time to listen to me, and he took notes in his computer too! Ive been in gastro hell for 17 months. I've FINALLY found Dr. Siddiqui, a doctor who not only understands my condition, but he is willing to give me non-surgical options first. Dr. Siddiqui is willing to work with me to diagnose my painful, rare chronic condition, using his mind and knowledge instead of just reading misdiagnosises passed on from previous unattentive doctor opinions. THANK YOU DR. SIDDIQUI, FOR LISTENING AND DIRECTLY ADDRESSING MY COMPLEX SITUATION!!! You are kind and have relieved and replaced my fear with options, cautious and responsible treatment, which is EXACTLY what I need get better! It's very sad that it's taken me 17 months to get any help, however your care has given me hope, something I lost over a year ago! Now I can focus in on a wellness program, instead of wasting valuable time, physical energy, and being scared by brutal and reckless PREVIOUS care, and lack of humane quality of care. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME HOPE AFTER 17 MONTHS OF EXTREME PAIN AND SUFFERING! To read reviews that complain of your ethnicity and you ordering tests, that's just rediculous! It's pretty vital to have tests to get a proper diagnosis!!! I'm VERY GLAD YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE ME TESTS AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE FROM, AS PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD HAVE GASTRO ISSUES THAT NEED SPECIALISTS. Can't understand his accent, doesn't know what he is doing, lack of knowledge due to his graduation in Pakistan

Not good at keeping communication. It is hard to get a hold of him. He does not visit the hospital when you are admitted. Not very open and sincere. He keeps prescribing and ordering tests while he does not know what is going on. Staff is fine.

Dr. did not even return my call regarding CT concern, I even called twice talked to the office who said she was going to give Dr. the message and call me back, still no call back so I called later that afternoon office person said Dr. was late today and days later he has still not returned my call.

Great Doctor, very good bes side manners and very competant, he was able to diagnose my problem and treated me very well. I highly recommend him for GI care.
