This is a great doctor and great office. They receive my highest ratings.

I had to come to this site to see why Dr. Zarett had less than a 5-star rating & was shocked to see that someone had given him all 1 stars! Interesting that this person didn't bother to write a comment as to why they gave the lowest rating possible.
I met Dr. Zarett recently when my wife required foot surgery. We are not new to the health care industry. Among other things in the past few decades we have dealt with infertility (successfully!) & breast cancer. We have had many wonderful doctors, nurses & other health care providers over the years, & unfortunately a few not-so-great experiences as well. Even so, I would never give any of them all 1-star ratings. Somebody, it seems to me, had an agenda against Dr. Zarett and I find it very unfair to strike out in such a way when these ratings can be important to many people in choosing doctors.
So let me just say that out of all the doctors we have had the honor of working with over the years, Dr. Zarett shines out at the top. He is compassionate. He took all the time in the world with us before & after surgery, including a long time with me alone while my wife was still in recovery. Nothing was left unexplained. Even though my wife was a new patient, we were seen only days after we first called. And the surgery center Dr. Zarett uses is excellent as well. His own office (Georgia Podiatry) is smaller & comfortable, like the old-fashioned doctors' offices we went to as kids where you're treated as a person, not a number. And you can't beat experience. Dr. Zarett's been at this a long time, knows what he's doing and really enjoys his work and his patients.
I amrecommending Dr. Jon Zarett most highly.

I feel so fortunate to have found Georgia Podiatry & Dr. Jon Zarett when I needed foot surgery. I have had several health problems this past year, including a broken hip & finding out I have osteoporosis of the spine (among other things). I was so tired of getting shuttled around the big office complexes around Northside & St. Joseph's Hospitals, treated like just another number & being automatically sent to Northside for X-rays only to find out they gouge you. (Over $500 for a simple hip X-ray! 3-4 times the usual rate.)
Anyway, Dr. Zarett's office is like a breath of fresh air. Everything was facilitated with ease, I was fussed over by Dr. Zarett's assistant, Jeff, the office itself is the most comfortable I've ever been in & the surgery center they use is just awesome.
But best of all is Dr. Zarett himself. I had the same surgery done on my other foot 20 years ago, so I was expecting a lot of pain for weeks afterward. This was nothing like that. Very little pain in comparison. Dr. Zarett spent so much time before & after the surgery talking & explaining things to my husband & me that I don't know how he manages to find the time, but he does. He's the best.
Even if we move away in the future, if I ever need foot surgery again, I'll travel back to Atlanta just to see Dr. Zarett. You can't go wrong with him.

You will never find a better, more compassionate podiatrist or doctor of any kind than Dr. Zarett. Not just in Georgia but anywhere in the country. And I don't think I've ever had a doctor who has taken the time with me that Dr. Zarett does. His office is not 1 of those big conglomerates that pervade our cities these days. It's homey, extraordinarily comfortable & all that's in addition to Dr. Zarett being an excellent doctor & surgeon. I just met him 3 weeks ago, but cannot imagine anybody having a complaint about him or his office. And if they did, I know that all they would have to do is to tell him & he would do all he could to make it right. Oh, & add to that his assistant, Jeff, who is like a mother hen, & you will wonder how you could ever go to another podiatrist. I count myself truly blessed to have found this gem of a doctor & Georgia Podiatry.

Dr. Zarett provided excellent care for acute pain in my big toe. He saw me on very short notice during a holiday week, asked many questions and thoroughly examined my foot, gait, etc.. Due to the level of discomfort, I was skeptical of his prognosis and conservative recommendation of rest, keeping weight off foot, etc.. He was right. My wife is a 10-12 year patient and is very pleased with the multiple orthotics provided by Dr. Zarett. One of the best practitioners in any health care field I've met in 50 years.

Dr. Zarett is extremely thorough, consciencious, caring, and knowledgable. He is also conservative, and always explores all treatment options available.
