Dr. Huber told my 6 year old grandson that if pulling the pin out of his arm hurt them he would stop and use anesthesia the following day. Instead he pulled it out while my grandson screamed bloody murder, for the next 10 minutes. Then they forgot about us in the "cast room" and came back and said we could leave before the second cast was even put on. Then the secretary tried to schedule a follow up appointment for 4 weeks and 1 day when the doctor said to return in 3 weeks. Wow, I'm in shock.

Had my ACL done years ago by a different doctor, I don't want to mention his name...but is well known in the NBA world and has an ego the size of Calif.....Long story short, have since seen Dr. Huber. Dr. Huber takes the time to explain options...Great doctor. I 100% recommend him.

Went to Dr Huber as a second opinion for surgery. He hit me right off as confident, caring and empathetic. I decided to have Dr Huber do my surgery. He is a super surgeon and a dr that I can trust will do the best for me. I would definitely go back to him if I should ever need any orthopedic surgical needs.
His staff, however, leaves a lot to be desired, from unanswered phone calls, to attitudes that I can absolutely due without.
Due to the overwhelming amount of appointments, there have been times when I felt I was being pushed aside in order to get to the next patient. I really believe that anyone who is in pain, should not have to wait an hour past their appointment time and then feel as if they are rushed through the appointment. They charge a fee if you cancel or you default if your late; so why not the other way around.

I have had 2 hip arthroscopies with Dr. Huber over the last 3 years. The first was to repair to a torn labrum that had happened 3 years ago. I had seen 4 orthopedic (supposed) specialists prior to visiting Dr. Huber. Upon my first visit and review of my case history and recent MRI/X-rays, he declared "you have a textbook labral tear." About 10 days later I was in for surgery and he was exactly correct! That surgery restored my life! Unfortunately, due to the shoddy (lack of) care I had received prior to Huber plus a genetic disposition, my hip cartridge has continued to degrade and I've had to undergo surgery again. However, less than 3 weeks later I was back on my bike for a 56 mile ride! Dr. Huber is a fantastic surgeon who really cares. He is genuinely concerned about his patients and his surgical skills are amazing! I would recommend him for hip arthroscopy without any reservations!

I love Dr. Huber along with his secretary Rachel; they always addressed my needs in a timely manner. I had a total hip replacement surgery and I have never had a moment of pain! I know it sounds miraculous but even though I was told to press the pain button whether I needed it or not, on the second day after surgery my PT asked have you had any pain? I said no. He said then why are pressing the pain button I said because they told me to do it. I immediately had that removed. I went to the transition center used no pain pain meds and have not used any and now I'm coming off the cane after 5 weeks. Thanks Dr. Huber and kisses to your dad who assisted in my surgery.

I was very pleased with dr. Huber and his staff. Although there is a wait for his appointments it is purely due to his surgery schedules. I think he is very patient, very knowlegable and doesn't rush you to make any decisions. I had a hip arthroscopy and I was absolutely shocked at how little pain and discomfort I feel being a week after the procedure. Dr. Huber was very helpful with his advise, especially about not rushing the recovery process and get off the crutches too soon. I can see why some would stop using crutches after 3-4 days because of the lack of any post operative symptoms. I want 2 counter comment on a review from 1 person who said something about surgery being scheduled @ out of network facility. It happened 2 me too but it's up 2 the patient 2 review with his/ her provider the available options. U have to manage your own care therefore you can ask 2 reschedule the surgery at a in network facility. Dr Huber has privilages @ 2 great hospitals in South Bay. He's great!

I was very pleased with the level and frequency of care I received from Dr. Huber. I was not as happy with the service provided by some on his staff.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Huber. I consulted him after a previous doctor had failed to diagnose my condition and he was amazing. He took time to answer all my questions and examine me throughly at every visit.

Scoped my knee six months ago. It's still worse than before the surgery, painful and unstable and I now have to use a cane. Doctor suggested that it was all in my head. Also, they scheduled the surgery at a facility not covered by my insurance. Avoid at all costs.
