I waited forty five minutes after my scheduled appointment to see Doctor Burke. I was never given a reason for the delay. However, immediately upon entering the room doctor Burke wanted to give me a shot for my Plantar Fasciitis to which is refused due to a previous shot being unsuccessful. He became angry after I rejected the offer. He would have known that if he had read my previous medical history. He was rude and has terrible bedside manners. He was uncaring and appeared grumpy. He is the worst! I will not be returning to his office for treatment. I hope retirement is in his near future.

as I have read below, doctor burke and his nurse are rude, and yes he definitely thinks your pain is only in your head. refused to give pain medication. never read my mri, in fact he never even asked for it which I brought from imaging center. instead he said let me look at the xray again. I have had a second opinion prior to going to his office, and he is way off base and after reading reviews below will not be having him treat me. rude and uncaring tells it all.

I am about to have foot surgery for a bunion on my left foot at Kaiser. The doctor looked at my right foot where dr. Burke had done surgery to remove a bunion years ago. The doctor commented on how excellent the surgery on my right foot had been and wanted an x-ray to see and copy the surgery. My range of motion was excellent and everything was perfect the doctor said. Thank you Dr. Burke for your excellent work.

I saw Dr. Burke to have surgery on both feet. After the 2nd surgery, I noticed a hard bump in my toe. Was rudely told you have had other surgeries before, that is scar tissue. Then proceeded to ignore me and speak to his assistant only. I had never developed any scar tissue from any other surgery. He and his assistant should have left to room to have their discussion. Maybe Dr. Burke was teaching him caring and concern for patients. I never returned. He is rude. I refer to him as Dr. Grumpy.
Samantha was the best. I followed her to the practice she moved to before moving to New York I miss her. Dr. Burke will not send records to other doctors without $$$$
I have since found a very good, very knowledgeable, very polite and informative podiatrist
that both my husband and I visit. I may have to a repeat surgery on my left foot as I am having the same problem that the surgery by Dr. Burke was to correct.

It is so very wrong when a doctor is uncaring, this is the worst trait of any doctor. The second most worst trait is money and making decisions based on his money source. Dr Burke is a clear example of both. He also lacks any skills for assessment and is basically posing as a doctor. What a joke he is! His poor patients. This guy must have bought his medical licence. He never washes his hands after patient care, makes his patients wait lengthy times, doesn't care if they are hurting or sick just makes them wait. His paycheck is workers comp, says it all! If you are a doctor Dr Burke, read your oath that you took to care for the injured and sick not to make money from insurance companies. How sad he has nurse assistants like Diana (not nurses who are trained) cover for him in fear of losing their own paychecks. Dismal place, dot go there.

Most of Dr. Burke's patients are from Workers Comp and those patients should always remember that he is loyal to those who are paying him and your care is not his primary concern. I found his staff to be quite pleasant, until they realized that I was not happy with the outcome of the care.

I allowed Dr. Burke to perform two surgeries on my feet to treat planter fascias. After the first surgery, I tried to tell Dr. Burke that my foot still was not right and was shrugged off. I was left to believe that it was going to be OK and I (foolishly) allowed him to perform surgery on my other foot. In the end, the surgeries did not work and I am in more pain now than I was before the surgeries. All Dr. Burke cared about was his precious surgical record.

I would strongly suggest BUYER BEWARE. After consults with other Dr.'s, I was advised that surgery is often NOT the best answer, just the best avenue for the profitability of the podiatrist.

Didn't care for this place from day one. 2nd visit Diana was rude to me. 3rd visit she confronted me about my complaint of her rudeness. After many visits and this Dr. treating me like my pain was in my head or being a baby he finally did an additional xray and found the problem. Sent me for MRI which showed the problem clear as day. Seeing new Dr. Monday and would not recommend Dr. Burke to anyone. But on a positive note the one NICE person there is CAROL!!!! I will miss her cheerfulness.

He couldn't figure out how to help my foot pain and was really unconcerned with it. The last time I went in, all he said was "There's nothing I can do for you" and the office still charged me (even after arguing I shouldn't have to pay a copay for him walking in and walking out)!!!

Ok after my 1st appointment felt doctor and staff got a bum rap. Now after my 2nd visit staff and doctor were "RUDE" doctor was pushing to give shot. said mri of ankle showed nothing except fluid in area. was given a walking boot but was not showen how to put it on almost broke my leg after putting it on and trying to walk around on it. I would not advise anyone to go to him. will ask workmans comp person to see another doctor or just use my own insurance. BUT EITHER WAY WILL NOT GO BACK! Made copy of mri will have another person also reread findings. You know when something is not right with your own body. After I get 2nd appion will make comments on Dr.Burke again.
