Agree with post July 16, 2011. Moved from the area and new cardiologist was shocked at the number of meds he had me on and 2 of the meds were for the same treatment. One was Plavix and another a generic for blood clot even though I never had a heart attack.

i wish dr lakow was not such a "prescription oriented" doctor. quick to write up an rx prescription. when i was hospitalized, even the nurses asked me why i had 3 meds with diuretic properties on them. no wonder i was having light headeaches and going to the bathroom more often. i asked my primary and he told me to stop 2 of them. i'm fine!
