She didn't know what she was doing. She declared me mentally ill when I had PTSD. I was declared competent by two other psych experts in the Twin Cities. The PTSD was caused by the Moorhead police department when they tazed me and barbarically treated me. She worked with the police department to detain me for 21 days when in fact I was competent. It cost me 30 days of my life and much money along with increased PTSD. She does not know how to deal with a person who is in emotional distress. She did not know how to diagnose a person who is psychotic. I was declared sane and competent. The psychiatrist should be working for the patient not the police. Her work with the police tainted her professional opinion. I was not tested using any psychiatric tests or measurements.. She just plain declared me mentally ill. A later opinion by two other psych experts declared me sane and competent. She clearly incorrectly evaluated me and this cause me more harm.

Dr Burtnett is very calm and has a great demeanor about her. She reflects that back onto the patients which she serves. She treats each patient she serves with absolute respect and wants the best for each person. She is very knowledgeable about medication options and I have entrusted myself under her care for several years now and will continue to do so. Thank you for your service!
