The receptionist is very snide both on the phone and in person. I had to leave multiple messages to get a response which then was basically "You will have to talk to him when you come in next time!"

He is very rude...which normally wouldn't bother as long as he is very good at what he does. But his treatment plans and ideas to help manage my conditions were very outdated. He gave almost no explanation and refused to listen to my concerns. He rarely even made eye contact except after an accusation of not following his treatment plans (which I was) or a condescending statement. His receptionist/office manager (his wife) is extremely rude and always has a nasty response for you. After only 2 appointments with a new and knowledgeable neurologist, my conditions are finally being appropriately managed...something Dr. Pilch wasn't able to do for me for years.

Treatment by a staff member is enough to search for new doctor. Nasty responce to questions instead of an answer is wrong for every receptionist

It's true that he doesn't have the best bedside manner sometimes and can come off very abrupt and judgmental, but he is really knowledgeable and confident in patient care. I would rather have someone who truly knows what he's doing and does it well than a doctor who is "nice". His office staff leaves something to be desired, especially his receptionist who is downright rude. The only real downside is that he doesn't have privileges at any of the Greenville hospitals, so if a patient is admitted, he will not be able to treat them in the hospital.

I see Dr. Pilch for migraine treatment, and some "sensory overload" problems. He always takes his time to listen to your problems, concerns, and questions. He is thorough in explaining medicine options & even alternative non-prescription methods of treatment. He is in it to truly help you. He doesn't recommend unnecessary tests. He doesn't treat you like you're stupid like a lot of drs do, especially when it comes to some of the unusual symptoms migraines can produce. He assures you that your symptoms and your questions are relevant and worth discussing. He's never made me feel rushed. I've recommended him to several other people.

Very good Dr. When my primary care doctor decided I needed the help of a Neurologist, he was able to work me in. He spent a great deal of time explaining everything and putting together a plan of action. I have been to several doctors over the past few years, and Dr. Pilch is excellent.

Dr. Pilch is one the best Neurologist in the Greenville Area. He's very concerned when It comes to his patients and always takes the time to to give his patients quality care. He also is not a doctor all about money because he will still see patients if they owe a big balance. Best Neurologist in the area !

As a nurse I am probably more "picky" than your average patient. Having worked side by side with doctors for many years, I've experienced the good and bad. I saw Dr. Pilch recently and as far as docs go, he rated a 10 out of 10 for me. He was personable, informative, humble, and caring. He took his time in talking and educating both me and my husband about my condition. Could not say one thing bad about him or his staff.
