My husband and I were having trouble conceiving because I have Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and don't ovulate regularly. After waiting over an hour to be seen, I was finally taken back. After one look at me he said "what makes you think you have PCOS?? You don't have a beard, or back hair!" That is a very uneducated thing to say. Everyone with PCOS has different symptoms. He then went on to tell me that when I go to the grocery store I must buy Frosted Flakes cereal instead of something healthy like Total. He was yelling at me. I stopped trying to have a baby for 4 years after that incident scarred me. There was much more to it. I wish I called someone to complain at the time.
