    Biography

    "Ernesto R. Diaz, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. He graduated from the University of Panama Medical School in 1987, after completing a 2-year internship and three years of Family Medicine Residency at the Metropolitan Medical Complex hospital in Panama City in the Republic of Panama. Dr. Diaz continued his training in Family Medicine in the State University Hospital, Downstate Medical Center, New York, and at King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he became the Chief Medical Resident during his senior year. He has been board certified since 1996. For eight years, he practiced at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY, was affiliated with EJ Nobel Hospital at Alexandria Bay, NY, and the North Country Children Clinic. He then relocated to Florida in 2004 and began his practice with Heart and Family Health Institute of Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach, and was affiliated with Port St. Lucie Hospital. Dr. Diaz is bilingual in English and Spanish. He enjoys vacationing and traveling with family, cycling, hiking, fine cuisines, and creating artwork."
