What would you think about this scenario? My family and I had been patients of Dr. Demirjian for twenty years. We are a healthy family and only went into the doctor's office maybe once a year or so. After my last visit and once the lab results were received, Dr. Demirjian's nurse called to inform me of the findings & his prescribed medication. This is where the problem began. I was concerned about the prescription & asked to speak with the doctor about it when possible. Then, I was told that I would have to schedule another appointment in order to speak with him ABOUT THE PRESCRIPTION JUST ISSUED. That was shocking to me! When I voiced that "shock" to the nurse, she very abruptly said, "I am going to let you speak with the office manager." Once transferred to the office manager, she couldn't have cared any less about my concern & let me know that it didn't concern her at all if we changed doctors. We are fully insured and always paid our bills. Our whole family left that practice!
