Dr. Ian Storch saved my life in December 2019 when I had my first colonoscopy after a FIT test came back with a positive result. Dr. Storch was able to detect the earliest form of colon cancer before the biopsy came back to confirm his expert observation. HE SAVED MY LIFE. I AM HERE TO WRITE ABOUT IT 4 years later! Because of his expertise and precision, I am ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Storch also had referred me to an outstanding surgeon for my re-section and let me tell you, I had the most positive experience through it all.

Here is MORE!!! When I was in North Shore Hospital for 3 days (Jan. 2-5, 2020) for the surgery, Dr. Storch visited me multiple times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was there in the recovery room, post-surgery and also stopped into my room several times after that until I was discharged!!!!!!!! And he never sent me a bill for those visits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to the one and only expert Dr. Ian Storch----HE MAY SAVE YOUR OWN LIFE.

The most awful experience!! Went to him with a history of stomach issues. He ordered a colonoscopy and the prep did not work. I called to let him know the night before it wasn't working and he was actually annoyed by the call and didn't care. After the procedure (which was a horrible and painful experience), nothing showed up. At that time, I was first informed about another test that could be preformed but was told I had only 5 minutes to decide if I wanted it done. I was physically very uncomfortable from the procedure and the prep had just started to work (a bit too late), so it was hard to make a decision that fast but he gave me no choice. He had weeks before this was scheduled to talk to me about this other test so that I could decide if I wanted to have it done. I wasn't even given time to find out if this very expensive test was going to be covered by insurance. After all the results came in and nothing showed up, he completed brushed me off!! He told me all was good....good??? I went to him with constant stomach pain. The tests were ordered to rule out certain things but just because nothing specific shows up, doesn't mean you don't treat the patient. IBS is very common and there are many different treatments available but he had no interest. He was clearly only interested in the money he makes off the tests and procedures. Luckily I found a competent physician who has been treating me and I feel so much better. With all the caring doctors out there, why use one that is only concerned with making money off you.

Dr. Storch was a great doctor. I was very nervous to have my first colonoscopy and a friend recommended Dr. Storch (who treat his entire family) to me. Dr. Storch took the time to explain everything before hand and put me at ease. The day of the procedure the office staff was very kind and good at reassuring me and making me feel comfortable. After the procedure Dr Storch explained everything. My whole experience was great.

Made an initial consultation appt for a colonoscopy at 7:30am (first patient of the day). Arrived 5 mins early but neither receptionist nor Dr was there. Found out receptionist call in sick and other staff did not know how to operate her computer. At 8am, front desk told me Dr still not on site. At about 8:20am, finally given some paperwork to fill out. When finished (about 8:40am) asked if Dr on site. Told yes, but with another patient! Apparently Dr began to scope his 8am patient, completely bypassing me without telling me and with no explanation. Then told by staff, "don't worry, he's fast and can see you soon." That's exactly what I want to hear, that the Dr does fast work for an important invasive procedure. I am still angry hours later that the staff and Dr. completely ignored and possibly mislead me the entire time I was there. Would you trust this guy to perform an important invasive procedure on you?
