I have gone to this doctor for years, She has always gone above and beyond to help me!! She is patient and kind. If she can't help me she is quick to get me an appt. with a specialist.

Staff is extraordinarily rude both over the phone and in person. Dr. Adams has terrible bedside manner and will not spend time with you to find a proper diagnosis. After the birth of my baby, I had some bad after affects and had to miss some work due to medical conditions. Dr. Adams & her assistant Katharine promised to send the paperwork into my job to prevent termination. A full 6 weeks later, I find out that this STILL has not been done even after 4-6 phone calls reminding them of the importance and urgency. Business is handled in an incompetent and unprofessional manner. Dr Adams has given me no reason to trust her medical opinion, as many times she has left me with an "I'm not sure" diagnosis. Her solution is to throw a couple medication prescriptions at you, then send you out the door with no intention to follow up on your well being.

I've seen Brenda Adams for 4 yrs. She has ALWAYS been so kind and helpful. I've never once had a bad experience with her or her staff. Working in the medical field I have experience bad bed side manner and Dr. Adams is very through, gentle and easy to talk to. I recommend her to friends and family all the time and those that have seen her say the same thing.

I went to see Dr. Adams for a physical before I got married. She told me she was going to do a pap smear. I informed her I was a complete virgin and that from what I understood you don't need one until AFTER you become sexually active. She said it was a good idea to do one anyways. I said ok, thinking "she's the doctor so I guess she knows". When she did the pap smear, she tried to use the larger of the tools, which caused me to rip and tear. It was EXCRUCIATINGLY painful! I told her and she said it was just "pressure". After being very rough she said "I'm going to go get the smaller one, this just isn't going to fit". She left me bleeding on the table while she went to get the smaller one. No coaching about breathing or not tensing up to help it be less painful. Nothing. I wore a pad the rest of the afternoon so I wouldn't bleed through my dress pants at work, and I hobbled due to the amount of pain I was in. I wore a pad for the next 3 days and hurt for a week. Very unprofessional.

Brenda Adams should not be practicing! She is rude, doesn't answer your questions, enjoys arguing with you, and doesn't do anything to help you. I left there the same as when I went in.... no answers. Does she really have a medical license? I will never go back and will always steer people in another direction. We have much better choices in the valley than this nut.
