Biography
Dr. Gocio attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Education
- University of Ar Coll of Med, Little Rock Ar (Grad. 1978)
My husband and I saw Dr. Gocio for severe stenosis in my cervical spine. He spent the entire visit with his back to me writing and speaking in a monotone. I am hard of hearing and could not understand. When I asked if he could turn around and have a direct conversation with him he became furious. Both my husband and I were completely startled by his inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. I did not want him operating on me. I asked my PCP to contact the office to see if I could consult with another surgeon there and they are refusing to see me. This means I have to travel quite a bit out of Baxter County for my health care and this is absolutely absurd. I feel shunned, discriminated against and penalized for no reason. I did nothing wrong. This is a medically unsound decision. You are making a 68 year old woman with multiple medical conditions travel hours away for surgery because of Dr. Gocio's personality issues? Shame on you.
