Wow, the review listed here is very much like my experience. I am guessing that reporting her does not do much. These people all have political ties that run high and long. I moved here recently and work in healthcare, yet was treated this way. I was assaulted by Dr. Haycox during my visit while she was on an angry tirade because I wore a cami outside (with sunblock) and as she was berating me she grabbed the neck of my gown, and without warning, aggressively yanked it down fully exposing My breasts to the male tech in the room. Initially, I looked forward to seeing Dr. Haycox as a family member told me she was great. I was shocked when I arrived at my appointment and Dr. Haycox was extremely abusive to me. From the start she seemed angry, she was short, controlling, mean - she made fun of my face. I tried to ignore her treatment of me and answered all of her questions and remained passive, hoping she would treat me better. Instead she became progressively worse. She began yelling at me for no reason, she berated me, and this continued until the end of the visit. She ignored my history of cancer. I have a 17 year background in healthcare and have never experienced anything like this before. When I finally stopped her and asked why she was yelling at me and treating me with such disrespect, she said she was not going to treat me and stormed out of the room. Then she falsified my record, said I was the one who was abusive to her, and she lied regarding the medical information I provided to her, stating I had moles taken off for no reason when I have had melanoma and all additional moles were either cancerous or atypical -and pathology from my previous docs proves this. She asked me if I had ever been tattooed around the mouth (I’ve never had a tattoo before) and I said no. She laughed at me and said, I guess that’s just the way you look! I had come in in part because of chronic rashes. When I got home I looked and it was another rash. I sent photos to my primary who offered to refer me to a new dermatologist. Dr. Haycox should not be in practice. Her license should be revoked. I hope this review saves many from the pain and trauma of seeing this doctor. She is unhinged.
