Most condescending and narcissitic person I have ever seen, my first visit and without asking more than 3 questions proceeded to go a condescending tirade about issue before I could even respond. tried to tell me about BMI's by using a chart for age/height/weight which is absolutely false, you need more than that, you need bone and muscle mass reading by either water immersion or other sources. No doctors attitude just shut up and do I say. This man his not humble more concerned with getting people in and out and getting insurance money , terrible office acumen. trying to impress an intern in the room. doctor never demonstrated that he had review my file prior to ordering test and procedures. Staff doesnt bother to see if the heart monitor that was ordered, would work in my area, it didn't....many weeks and wasted time I received a heart monitor that worked and sent in the data to the doctor only to find out at the appointment that I had a fast heart.. My original issue has still not been dealt with or addressed. Staff doesnt return calls. Cannot recommend this doctor or office

I had an appointment with Dr. Mathews and I thought he was very knowledgable, spent alot of time with me. The staff was courteous and pleasant. He is definitely one the better doctors in Brevard county

I was to have my first appointment with this Dr. Matthews today. The staff was less than pleasant and after waiting an hour, I was taken to a room and notified that the doctor was not available that I would be seeing a nurse practitioner. So, I was given no notice and no choice. I would doubt that if I kept them waiting for an hour, and did not bring my co-pay, I would not have been seen by anyone. I am an adult and able to make my own choices, and my time is just as important as anyone's. I am VERY disappointed in this practice.

My first visit I found Dr. Black and her staff to be very pleasant and patient. She also visited me in the hospital and was very sincere in how she felt regarding my pain when talking to be. I would recommend this doctor to anyone of my friends or family.
