If you want a serious doctor, that’s what you get with Dr. Kenneth Ordene. If he were one of The Golden Girls, he would be Bea Arthur, not Betty White. He would not be 'Hawkeye' Pierce or Frank Burns but more of a B.J. Hunnicutt kind of doctor. He will tell you what you need to do to stay healthy. As for his office staff, I have found each and every one of them to be extremely professional and a really caring group of ladies.

Despite being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in June 1993, Dr. Ordene has kept me well for the ensuing 25 years. He is a fine doctor and a very good human being, and I am enormously grateful for his care. His office staff people are courteous and professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Dr Ordene is the best there is...I was having a problem with my thyroid that went undiagnosed for years because I was being told that either there was nothing wrong with me or other doctors wanted to over medicate. Dr Ordene listened to my problem and ordered tests that indeed found the problem. I have been much better since. Thank You Dr Ordene

First time I experienced hyperthyroid. Went to Dr. Ordene. A very relaxing, confident doctor who explained every little detail with this problem. Always explained every step to me. Took every test necessary to make me better. This doctor is the best and has great bedside manners! I would refer him to anyone at any time. Thank you Dr. Ordene for being my doctor and making me whole again.

Dr. Ordene is a very focused and has helped me control my blood sugar numbers for years. The entire operation is First Class, short wait times and time for interactions are the norm, not the exception. Highly recommended.

What a nice staff. Doctor Ordene was very helpful, he listened to my complaints, and we both agreed on a treatment plan. I waited about 5 min in the waiting room.

As a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years I have seen many doctors over the years. Dr. Ordene's knowledge and professionalism is head and shoulders above the majority of them. He is focused on patient care and "solving a problem" while proceeding in a conservative manner while keeping patient desires and expectations in mind. I have recommended Dr. Ordene to a number of people who all seem comfortable and are satisfied with his care.

Had to cancel my appointment, wasn't asked for a reason and then told they need a card because I was 2 hours late canceling. Disgraceful how I was spoken to. Then told I have to pay for my records! I would NOT suggest this office to anyone and subject them to this abuse!

Dr. Kenneth W. Ordene's response
In our office we attempt to find answers that are acceptable and realistic for every patient. We also cannot compromise our standard of care and professionalism. We try to respond to legitimate needs in a timely manner, unfortunately some patients are inappropriate in attitude and demands. It is not “ok” for a patient to raise their voices when interacting with staff. It is also necessary for every office to have a standard protocol for patients to follow which includes cancellation policies, request for medical records and insurance requests. These policies always need to be consistent and reasonable for both Doctor and Patient. This allows patients who need to see a Doctor -follow a requested cancellation policy (which is noted on forms) to follow these criteria for cancellation of their appointments. A set time frame for cancellation, allows other patients to fill these much requested time slots. We always attempt to be as accommodating as possible. Sometimes patients are hostile and unreasonable at every encounter in a physicians’ office. There is no question that some patients feel entitled to be verbally abusive to office staff and then blame the office for all their problems.
