He is very kind and caring. I feel like I can trust him. He makes me feel like my mental health matters. Also, he never leaves me waiting. I've read the previous reviews and couldn't believe what some people have said. I've had nothing but good experiences with him as my doctor.

It bothered me that every time I visited him he would ask me how my job was going when I had not held a job outside the home since seeing him and told him that ON EVERY VISIT! Maybe I'm overly sensitive, but made me wonder if he paid attention to anything I told him. The main reason that I found another doctor, however, is the lack of helpfulness of his staff. They rarely, if ever, answered the phone and then were not professional when they returned calls.

He was very judgmental and did not show empathy at all. It was hard enough for me to get to the point where I could go and talk to someone. I have been to Iraq and Afghanistan 5 different times and have been experiencing over the years PTSD issues that I thought I could handle on my own. He was more concerned with analyzing the questionnaire that you are required to fill out rather than asking me the poignant questions of why I was there in the first place. Unfortunately this is the only Doc I can see because Fox Army Med Center is not taking any new patients for their psychiatrists. Its just very frustrating for an active duty military member reaching out to try and get help!!!!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Laupple. He has me on the right medicine for my condition. We've had our battles but it was my fault. He was just trying to keep me safe.

I saw this Dr on 1/3/17
It was my first visit and so far he picked up on everything I was having issues with and immediately started to treat me. I have had poor doctors in the past but I believe this maybe one of the best I have had since moving to the area he services.

He is one of the most caring individuals I have ever come across. He has helped me through a horrible period of my life and I am brand spanking new to Huntsville. He is smart and very smart yet listens intently to everything. Cannot say enough good things about him .

I have been seeing this Dr for less than a year. He always struck me as being judgmental but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. After today, I told him we would not be doing business together again. I also see a Therapist and Psychologist. My Psychologist always suspected Aspergers/ASD and I recently also began to see a Therapist who specializes in treatment of Aspergers and Autism. I told him when I first started seeing him that my issues were with anxiety, stress, depression, etc. He never put me on an anti-depressant either. Today, I presented him with new findings of my adult diagnosis of Aspergers (now falling under Autism Spectrum Disorder) which explains everything I've ever been through all my life. My family agreed with the diagnosis, my therapist of course did, my Psychologist does as well. Dr. Leaupple brushed this off when I disclosed this to him. He showed no interest in accepting it and showed zero empathy and wanted me to go to a hospital for therapy five days a week. Basically institutionalized without being inpatient. This was the only way he was going to help me further. I disagreed with this. I do not recommend seeing him if you are looking for someone who is caring and empathetic and shows genuine interest in helping you. He act like he's not one bit interested in helping someone. Just passing judgment, wasting money (which I have little of), and like he would rather be elsewhere. I think he should seriously consider a new profession.

I would NEVER recommend this doctor. He lacks any patient /doctor relationship. He acts like he woudl rather be some where else.
