Whatever you do, GO TO A DIFFERENT SURGEON other than Dr. Nick Hatzis!! All I can say is that he performed a complete shoulder replacement yesterday on my mother, a retired nurse, and now she's at home with NO pain medicine!! We've tried calling the practice & have spoken with his PA several times (why is a PA on call for this MD surgeon) but even his PA can't get a hold of him!! Isn't the purpose of a doctor to take care of the entire problem, from office visits to surgery to post-op care? At this point, I wouldn't send my dog to this guy!!!
