Biography

Dr. Marvin Bondhus has a long history of providing high-quality urology care to patients in Miami-Dade County. Growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Dr. Bondhus got his medical degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver. He then came to Miami for his surgery internship and residency programs in surgery and urology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. After his residency training, Dr. Bondhus became an assistant clinical professor at the University of Miami Department of Urology and began his private practice in Coral Gables (South Miami). Dr. Bondhus is an outstanding member of many professional organizations. He has been chief of urology at HealthSouth Hospital as well as South Miami Hospital. He is currently on the staff of Baptist Hospital of Miami and South Miami Hospital. With many years of valued experience, Dr. Bondhus is extremely knowledgeable in the diagnosis, care, and treatment of a wide variety of adult urological conditions. He has also participated in many clinical studies through the years. Dr. Bondhus is a board-certified urologist in good standing and very well respected among his peers. His care philosophy is “integrity, compassion, knowledge, and excellence,” for which he is well known throughout the South Florida medical community.
