It isn't just him, but the entire office runs like a mill. You wait in the waiting room for twice as long as the amount of time you get with the doctor. That's if they don't try to pawn you off on a PA. Terrible!

You can call this guy "Dr. With a foot out the door". He hardly spends any time with you, and I think he spent more time typing on his computer than talking to me.

If I want to be preached to ill go to church. A doctor is supposed to help patients get rid of their symptoms. All this doctor did was yell at me to eat less and exercise more. If I didn't know that before I came to see him, this doctor's prattle wouldn't make a difference anyway. I won't be back.

Dr. Powers is the definition of an HMO doctor. He doesn't let you get referrals, even when your medical conditions are out of control. My blood sugars went over 400 and I had to go to the hospital to not go into a coma. It was only then that I got an endocrinologist who got by diabetes managed correctly.
