Dr. Izant performed my total knee replacement in November of 2012. We tried non-surgical options first. The surgery went very well, and I had my life back. He listens, explains clearly, and answers questions. I know eight other people who have had Dr. Izant for arthroscopy or knee replacement, and they've all been very satisfied.

I've suffered with left hip problems for the past 5 years and have used 400 mg of OTC motrin and 10 mg cyclobenzaprine for the past 6 months. After seeing this doctor he refused to continue my script for cyclobenzaprine stating through staff members, he has never used cyclobenzaprine and he will not write script for it. I require the medication PRN whether HE likes the medication or not. Also recommended a cortisone injection into my hip for the pain, which simply masks the pain and the joint damage continues. I don't want or need pain medication...just a simple muscle relaxer to deal with the muscle spasms which grip my low back on the left over the affected hip.
