He examined my husband at 7am. At 11am, he was running a 107 degree fever. 4 hours later, they still had not gotten him into ICU. This is all while being at Kindred in Kansas City. He died less than 2 days later at a different hospital. Kindred is disgusting. Read inspections. I walked in with a RN picking my husband trach tube off the floor, and she walked over to him and was going to a attach it to his throat, had I not stopped her. She didn't sterilize it or anything. No wonder he had C-diff and ultimately died from sepsis. We complained numerous times to Nursing Director as well as Medical Director. I hope my experience can help save someone else's life, so that my husband's death has a purpose. I would give a zero rating, if I could.
