When I first met Dr. O’Connor, he was very nice and told me what to expect. I was very happy until the very end of my 7 weeks. 2 days before the end of my radiation treatment it was getting very painful to swallow, and it continued to get worse for the next 2 weeks after radiation treatment, extremely worse! I met with him weekly and kept telling him I was in severe pain and could not swallow even liquids without lidocaine. He gave me more pain killers and said, “you will get through this, I’m the doctor and I know best”. He Stopped seeing me and sent me to continue seeing a pain specialist. 12 weeks later November 2022 I had a pet scan. 5 days after the pet scan I called Dr. O’Connor’s office to find out the results and was told I needed to wait 3 weeks to meet with Him about the results because he was going on vacation! I was mad and told her I was not going to wait 3 weeks to find out my results. She was curt and said she would have him call me. I Had made an appointment with an Ear, Nose, & Throat doctor that day who figured out I had tonsillitis, Infected Tonsils all along. Dr O’Connor did not listen to me and thought he knew best. I suffered for 12 weeks and went down to 125lbs with infected tonsils because of his; “I’m the doctor, I know best attitude”. And there were problems with the results of the pet scan also! I recommend you see another doctor. He is arrogant and doesn’t listen!
