I have been going to Dr Novo for several years. He is knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. I was so sad my insurance does not allow me to see him anymore.

He was so rude, short , condescending, felt like we were an inconvenience to him. One of the nurses fit us in because my husband was having terrible headache and eye pain. He made it very well known to us that he was inconvenienced by the fact that we were not supposed to be on the schedule but were last minute. made us very uncomfortable. terrible bedside manner.

I don’t know why SCRIPPS keeps this doctor on staff. Condescending and arrogant. Never went over my eye exam. His notes (which I read thru the on-line portal) completely mis-diagnosed my eye issue and he intentionally minimized my symptoms to validate his diagnosis. Notes were filled with grammatical errors. He was glib and made light of my situation which I took very serious. Terrible experience. He doesn’t belong at SCRIPPS. He doesn’t belong in a strip mall.

Rushed through appointment. Was belittling, laughed at my eye problem "what do you expect at your age?" Indifferent, offered no help or suggestions.

Dr. Novo prescribed obsolete contacts. Dr. Novo charged me for services that were not provided.

This guy basically lies. He writes a script to the optician that has issues, then the optician asks for Dr. Novo to double check his script, and Dr. Novo charges full fees a second time. Said he wouldn't, but then did and refused to remove the charges. What a dirt bag!!!!!!!!!!
