Dr. Chagares goes above and beyond as does his staff. Our family is forever grateful for his top-notch surgery skills and bedside manner. He is truly empathetic and treats you like family. We can’t say thank you enough to both he and his staff!

I recently had a mammography and breast ultrasound. My doctor told me I needed to see a surgeon. I called Dr. Chagares’ office and they got me in right away. Dr. Chagares explained that I needed to have a biopsy and I was so scared. Luckily, my biopsy was negative and I am back to needing routine care. My experience with Dr. Chagares couldn’t have been any better. He was knowledgeable, he helped me understand everything that was going on and he made me feel at ease. The staff was so easy to deal with every step of the way. Amazing doctor and an amazing office. Highly recommend.

Dr Chagares recently performed a biopsy of something on my head and I have nothing but nice things to say about him. He is hands down the most kind and caring doctor I have ever met. He took his time and explained to me the entire procedure. Being that cancer runs in my family I was quite nervous but he answered any question I had and made me feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr Chagares to anyone who ask. He is an amazing man and Doctor

I had to go to him at the recommendation of my dermatologist. He is a very nice man. I feel bad leaving a bad review kind of but not really. My leg is messed up for life now. I had a melanoma only 1 mm deep. I should've canceled the surgery. I didn't expect the outcome to be so bad as it is. He originally told me ah a few days, you will be back to work. Drew how big an incision he would make. I swear the incision was bigger than that. The swelling on my leg has been terrible and it was well over a month of recovery, not 2 days. Every time I called with a problem, I got told "that's normal". Well if it was, why wasn't I told all these possibilities from the beginning? I'm very upset as I like to wear heels and shorter dresses sometimes and I feel I have a disfigured leg now. Very unhappy. I'll never go any further with surgery God forbid another melanoma presents.

Dr. Chagares has treated my wife, children and me for many years. He is absolutely terrific. We are so fortunate to have a doctor who listens to our complaints and spends the necessary time to diagnose our problems. On several occasions he has met us in the emergency room when we most needed his expertise. He never complains and always has a caring smile on his face. I only wish the other doctors we know cared as much as Dr. Chagares. If you need a surgeon there is no one better or more trustworthy. Simply the best!

Dr. Chagares misdiagnosed me with an umbilical hernia without feeling my abdomen or ordering any medical tests. He put me under anesthesia in a surgi center before discovering that I actually did not have a hernia. He was pompous, arrogant, and did not listen to a word I said. After going for a CT scan, it was discovered that I had a desmoid tumor and could have died without life saving surgery performed by another amazing surgeon. Run as fast as you can from this man who thinks he knows everything and is more concerned with fancy trips, cars and his tan than he is with your health and safety.

I would HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Chagares to anyone in need of a surgeon. He was professional, kind, informative and put all of my fears of surgery at ease. His staff is just as awesome! He told me exactly what I was to expect and need and he was spot on. A fantastic doctor overall!!!
