I’m not one to be easily impressed, but I found Dr. Kim’s approach to be thoroughly impressive. She’s brilliant.

I found Dr. Kim to be an exceptional physician in several ways. To begin with, her reassuring bedside manner is imbued with the warmth of natural ease and calm confidence. She makes it incredibly easy to discuss matters with her, and at no point in the appointment did I detect the doctor-patient power differential. It was a very healthy communicative dynamic where I felt completely at ease, heard, seen, understood, acknowledged and validated. She genuinely wanted to understand my experience and struggles with what has been ailing me. She assumed nothing and listened to me with great care and attention, and asked all the right and significant questions. She didn’t miss a beat, not a single one.

She’s exceptionally bright, insightful and possesses a diagnostic prowess that is uncanny. She took the time to properly assess my current ongoing issues, and as equally and as thoroughly went over my medical history, labs and other diagnostics at great length. I’ve been suffering from a series of complex health issues that have turned chronic, and none of the many doctors I had seen prior to her gave me the sense of clarity and empowerment, in that this is what you’ve been facing us addressable and can be overcome, and here are some clear options, in terms of approaches to treatment, and here’s why, as she did. None of the prior too-notch doctors even came close.

Her integrative, holistic approach came as a huge relief because it meant she was making her assessments through multiple lenses to gain an well-rounded perspective. She openly discusses the modalities she’s employing in her assessment and approach with you, so you’re the loop and in the know. This enables you to gain and develop an understanding of your bioindividual health dynamics. Her approach addressed me in my entirety as a whole person—addressing not only my physical ails, but also my wellbeing in terms of mental and emotional health, and the significant contributive factors from the social, energetics and spirit-affirming perspectives, known to impact one’s health and disease manifestations.

By the end of the session she had throughly explained to me how the disease manifestations has likely all begun in my particular case, the likely root causes (that begun in my childhood with multiple rounds of antibiotics over several years, compromising the health and function of my gut, digestion, metabolism, immune system etc.), and how that led to where I am currently within the trajectory of my chronic disease manifestations.

I felt the burden I had been carrying around before that first appointment with her almost completely lift of my shoulders by the end of the appointment with her. (I use almost because chronic ails take time to reverse). I had walked into her office carrying with me the burden of being failed by the prior medical systems and approaches—they had failed to provide me with an real answers or solutions, and it had left me experiencing hopelessness, helplessness, powerlessness, confusion and an aimless ambiguity, that had crept in over the years which often come in response to battling chronic conditions.

By end of my first appointment with Dr. Kim, I felt I could finally breathe with ease again, the stress and tension in my body began to release and dissipate. I finally felt I’m in the right hands and am going to receive the right care and solutions. My inner knowing was that I’m on my way to regaining my health, vitality and functionality, and with that being able to reclaim my life and joy. I left feeling empowered, grateful and hopeful.

Most of all, it was the most validating experience a person struggling with chronic illnesses can receive.

I (unfortunately) suffered from a cervical disc herniation, causing severe pain in my arm and numbness in my fingers. Dr. Kim recommended prolozone therapy, and between the injections, physical therapy, massage and acupuncture, I'm a new man. I'd say the prolozone was responsible for at LEAST 80% of my improvement and recovery. She's thoughtful, very sharp, and an excellent clinician and I highly recommend her. Her colleague Dr. Brett Fuller, DC is also an exceptional clinician and can treat health conditions far beyond musculoskeletal issues.

I knew Dr Kim all the way back to 2004 and I can assure you she is one of the very few Doctors in my life that truly carried on the noble oath of practicing medicine...she is extremely knowledgable as well as she is smart and very well capable to heal patients. She takes the time to listen to all of her patients and she always been avaliable to me whenever I call her and need to talk to her. I referred many of my friends and relatives to her practice and I still advice everyone in the Norhern VA area to go and see her. You would be very pleased with her bedside manners as well as her persistent personality on curing her patients.

Dr. Kim is a gifted healer, an model for what medicine is supposed to be! She listens carefully, sees you as a person, draws on both traditional and non-traditional knowledge, and adds a little intuition to identify the root cause of your symptoms, trying the simplest solutions, that work with your body first. Based on mine and two friends' experiences, I would recommend her to anyone genuinely interested in health and willing to make some changes to achieve health. If you like a quick fix in pill form, i would not recommend her for you.

Dr. Kim is amazing -- the best doctor I've ever had in my life. She is kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen to her patients. Yes, her office does require payment upfront, but many insurances will reimburse you. Her office actually submits the claim for you. Many independent doctors -- some of the best-- have taken to requiring payment upfront, as it reduces their overhead costs. Dr. Kim's quality of care is so exceptional that we consider it completely worthwhile to pay upfront. My only regret is that she's become so popular in the area as the word has gotten out about her that it now takes much longer to get an appointment with her.

Love her love her love her!!! Best doctor ever!!! She has such amazing knowledge and bedside manner. I took my kids in for physicals and felt she was extremely thorough. I feel like I can trust her completely. She is not quick to reach for the prescription pad, she really seeks to find out why whatever is happening is happening and try to correct things in a more natural fashion. I like that I can try things naturally, and if she would prescribe a drug, I know I really need it. I have full faith in her abilities. I know several of her patients and they love her too.
