Dr Sorensen was featured in a Deseret News article on migraines and atrial septal defect, which was a hole in your heart allowing dirty blood to mix with clean blood. The piece mentioned the doctors address and phone numbers. As it turned out I had ASD and my risk for a stroke was very high. I had the out patient surgery and did fine, no more mirgrains, no strokes. It isn’t too much of a stretch to say, he saved my life.

Criminal & monster. A doctor who was in it for the money and is finally held accountable. He did more than 25 times the normal rate of PFO closures, all the while hiding behind false reasoning. His lies have caught up with him and there is a lawsuit currently taking place. He was suspended multiple times from Intermountain Medical Center and is being investigated for medical malpractice and insurance fraud. He personally lied to me about the contents of my PFO device, which is more than 50% nickel.
