Will Not return to this dentist and would never recommend this dentist. He loves you if you have great insurance and deep pockets. He wants to do root canals and other advanced procedures instead of referring out to specialist. He likes to do unnecessary work that is not actually needed!

He has been our dentist for over 5 years and we love him! He is the best not only in care, but also in comfort! He numbs areas before injections, he is gentle, and he is great at what he does. We have never had any billing issues, they are always upfront with charges and even double check before day of service in case there are any changes in coverage.

Like other comments before. If Dr. Taft has agreement with different insurance carriers .....HE SHOULD ABIDE BY THEM. Just like previous comments, I had the same issues and I have one right now. He charged my wife extra and the office assistant claims is was for (get this!) "premium service". They are generally rude when you trying to get a refund. My insurance statement shows that DR. Taft agreed to the reimbursement schedule for this service and no further charges should have been added. If it comes to that I will not hesitate to take this to the Small Claims Court.

Dr. Taft is very nice and the office staff, especially Darla and Cindy are great. I have been seeing him for about three years.

I went to Dr. Taft and was very disappointed by much of what was provided. I would not recommend his office! The hygenist (who was nice) began taking x-rays for my annual exam. I asked her if the xrays she was taking were covered by my insurance. She said it was all covered. Then I get a bill in the mail. I have Humana One and provided my insurance almost a month before my appointment. When I called back to find out why I received a bill I was told it was my fault for believing the hygenist. Really!? This place is not trustworthy.

We have been using Dr. Taft for our entire family for years now. He sees us and our kids and he is AMAZING along with his office staff. The women up front are so nice and they have such a friendly dispositions. I tried some dental chain prior to Dr. Taft and they said I had 10 cavities and needed a "deep" cleaning, when I got the second opinion from Dr. Taft he said I did not need the deep cleaning AND had 4 cavities! Also he did work for me when I was pregnant and unlike others he did not push xrays since YOU SHOULD NOT GET THEM DONE when you are pregnant... and I am an OBGYN!

I am a patient of Dr.Taft and I actually work for another dentist in town. I trust Dr.Taft and his staff 100%. Being a dental assistant myself I know some of the other reviews are just silly, so I wanted to back him up by stating the facts. #1 Any doctor/dentist has their own license to worry about when choosing to work on or not to work on a pregnant patient. (If you are in pain ask the doctor who sent you to the dentist for pain meds, I bet he wouldn't prescribe them to a pregnant person!!) #2 INSURANCE, not the dentist office often will not cover things and there is no way to know what is covered or not until you submit a claim. (maybe YOU should call YOUR insurance, it is not his staff) #3 Dr Taft is a kind, gentle, conservative (with your treatment plan) man who really cares about people and the job he does. If you don't want a great man as a dentist then do to the medicaid office or a dental school for your free treatment.

I hate going to the dentist but immediately after arriving at Dr. Taft's office I felt at ease. The staff was very professional and had an answer to every question I asked. Dr. Taft was very polite and was very clear in explaining the procedures that were completed. I have never had a problem with Dr. Taft and highly recommend him for anyone seeking out dental care.
